Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on pikleisure.uk.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function and remember basic preferences.

What we use

We use strictly necessary cookies only. These are required for the site to work and do not need your consent under UK GDPR and PECR:

  • wordpress_test_cookie — detects whether cookies are enabled in your browser (session)
  • wordpress_logged_in_* — identifies logged-in users (admin only, session or up to 14 days)
  • wp-settings-* — admin interface preferences (admin only, 1 year)

If you make a card payment in the future via Stripe, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page, governed by Stripe’s privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.

What we do not use

  • No analytics scripts (no Google Analytics or equivalents)
  • No advertising or marketing trackers (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads, no remarketing)
  • No social media share buttons that track you
  • No third-party scripts that profile you

Fonts and external resources

All fonts, scripts, images, and styles on this site are hosted on our own server. We do not load any third-party scripts, fonts, or assets from external CDNs. Your IP address and request data stay between you and our server.

How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to refuse cookies entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below shows the most recent revision.
