These terms apply when you book or use a badminton court at PIK Sports & Leisure, operated by PIK LEISURE LTD (Companies House No. 16231039). By making a booking or entering our venue, you agree to these terms.
What we provide
We operate an indoor badminton facility with 8 regulation courts at Merlins, Spitfire Lane, Stockbridge SO20 6JS. Courts are available for hourly hire. No membership or long-term contract is required.
Pricing
- Off-peak (Mon to Fri, 09:00 to 17:00): £8 per court per hour
- Peak (Mon to Fri 17:00 to 19:00; Sat and Sun 11:00 to 22:00): £12 per court per hour
Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Multi-court bookings, full-hall hire, club nights, and tournaments are quoted separately by email.
Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us.
- Payment is taken at the time of booking or on arrival, by card (via Stripe) or bank transfer.
- You may cancel up to 24 hours before your booking for a full refund. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for full detail.
Your responsibilities
When using our facility, you agree to:
- Treat the courts, equipment, and other users with respect
- Wear non-marking indoor sports shoes
- Vacate the court promptly at the end of your slot
- Cover the cost of any damage you cause beyond fair wear
- Supervise children at all times if you are responsible for them
We may refuse entry or end a session if behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or damaging.
Equipment hire
Racquets and shuttles are available to hire on site at posted rates. Hire equipment must be returned in the condition issued. Replacement cost applies for lost or damaged items.
Liability
We take reasonable care to keep our facility safe, but you play at your own risk. Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the extent permitted by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK law. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not liable for items left at our venue. Please take your belongings with you.
Privacy
Personal data collected when you book or contact us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below shows the most recent revision. Existing bookings are governed by the terms in force at the time you booked.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
